Build your career at RHF Fans
CAREERS WITH RHF
Find the route that fits you
You do not need to have your whole career mapped out before joining RHF.
Some people begin through an apprenticeship. Others join us directly and learn from experienced colleagues. As your skills and confidence grow, you can take on more responsibility, learn different parts of the business or develop specialist expertise.
We are interested in people who are willing to learn, take pride in their work and bring a strong work ethic.
Every fan we make starts as sheet steel and leaves our Irlam factory as a finished product built to each customer’s unique requirements.
That takes practical skill, technical thinking and commercial know-how. Discover the different ways you can join our team, learn new skills and build your career with us.

APPRENTICESHIPS
Our apprentices learn on the job at RHF while completing formal training with Train’d Up.
You will not be kept in one corner of the factory. You will work alongside different experienced people as the jobs coming through RHF change, helping you understand how a fan is manufactured from start to finish.
Our current apprenticeship routes include:
- Welding and fabrication
- Fitting and service
We plan to expand our apprenticeship opportunities as the business and its training needs develop.

WORKING ON THE SHOP FLOOR
See a product _come together_ from start to finish
Every RHF fan is built to a customer’s requirements here in Irlam, Manchester.
Our fabricators cut and form the steel. Welders join the parts. Fitters bring the motor, impeller and casing together. The fan is then painted, finished, checked and tested before leaving the factory.
You will work alongside people with different skills and see how every department contributes to the finished product.
