This arrangement has an impellor directly mounted onto the motor shaft. The motor is outside of the airstream. The hub of impellor protrudes from the casing. The fan is shown mounted onto an optional channel base. The channel Base comes in 2 variants, one with outriggers and one without. Outriggers enable easy drilling of foundation holes without having to mark and then move the fan.

RHF uses integral lagging, this means that all of our fans are engineered to allow for integral lagging as standard. The lagging is encased in a ‘second skin’ which not only gives a more aesthetically pleasing finish but allows for easier maintenance as the lagging does not have to be removed.

The maximum air temperature is 270ºC with 70mm integral flange to flange lagging and 300ºC with 100mm integral flange to flange lagging. The casing is split horizontally (discharge angles allowing) to aid impellor removal. The impellor can be also be removed from inlet side, but not from the drive side.
