fan No9 Monoblock Universal Lagged (Drive Side Removal)

This arrangement has a shaft and bearings supporting an overhung impellor. The bearings and shaft are outside of the airstream. The hub of impellor protrudes from the casing. The motor is mounted onto an adjustable plate which is in turn mounted onto 4 screwed rods. The drive guard and adjustable plate bolt directly onto the pedestal. The fan is shown mounted onto an optional channel base. The channel base comes in 2 variants, one with outriggers and one without. Outriggers enable easy drilling of foundation holes without having to mark and then move the fan.

RHF uses integral lagging, this means that all of our fans are engineered to allow for integral lagging as standard. The lagging is encased in a ‘second skin’ which not only gives a more aesthetically pleasing finish but allows for easier maintenance as the lagging does not have to be removed.

The maximum air temperature is 350ºC with 50mm integral flange to flange lagging and 450ºC with 100mm integral flange to flange lagging. The impellor can be removed from drive side, without having to disturb the inlet or discharge ducting. This casing has 2 further variants, one where the lagging is cut back at the discharge and one where the inlet flange is unlagged.
